Description
From the Greek Hydar “water” and Méli “honey”, mead is obtained from the natural fermentation of a must of water and honey.
It is probably the oldest fermented drink in the world, already known in ancient Rome as the “Nectar of the Gods”, drunk during wedding ceremonies, where it was offered to the newlyweds. Hence the expression “honeymoon”.
With its enveloping aroma, delicate taste and aromatic notes, it finds its ideal place as an aperitif, with meals, or as a liqueur to accompany desserts.
Serve at a temperature between 6° and 8°. Any sediment is a sign of the product’s authenticity.
