These conditions govern purchases made on this site. Read them before ordering: the order obliges you to pay, and by confirming it you declare that you have read and accepted them. Last updated: 29 October 2026.

2. Who they apply to
We sell to consumers, that is, to those who buy for purposes unrelated to their own trade or profession, and also to those who buy for their business (VAT number). The right of withdrawal and the guarantees of the Consumer Code apply only to consumers. For continuous supplies, nucs, swarms and hives, pollination and wholesale orders write to us: the conditions are agreed separately.
3. The products
We sell honey and hive products of our own production, jams, candies, herbal teas, grappa and mead, apicosmetics and accessories. For each product the page gives the description, size, ingredients and, where applicable, the nutritional values, as printed on the label.
- Photos and colors are indicative. The color, scent and consistency of a natural honey vary with the bloom and the season. Honey that crystallizes is not defective: it is unpasteurized honey behaving as it should.
- The mandatory information on the food — name, ingredients, allergens, net quantity, best-before date, batch and producer — is on the label of every pack. For cosmetics the label shows the list of ingredients (INCI), the warnings and the person responsible for the product.
- Honey must not be given to children under twelve months.
- Storage: in a cool, dry place, as indicated on the pack.
4. Alcoholic drinks: adults only
Grappa and mead are alcoholic drinks. The sale of alcoholic drinks to persons under eighteen is prohibited: by ordering these products you declare that you are an adult. We may ask you for an ID document and cancel the order, with a refund, if it turns out that the person ordering or receiving is a minor. The courier may ask for an ID document on delivery.
5. Availability
Some honeys are seasonal or produced in limited quantities. If, after your order, a product turns out to be sold out, we will tell you right away and you can choose whether to wait for the new harvest, replace it with another product or be refunded what you paid.
6. Prices
Prices are in euros and include VAT at the rate required by law. Shipping costs are shown in the cart and at checkout, before payment, and are added to the price of the products. If you need an invoice, write to us before the order, or just after, at info@mieleartemide.com, with company name, VAT number and recipient code or certified email.
7. How to order
You place an order by adding products to the cart and completing the requested details at checkout. Before payment we show you the summary with the products, the total price, shipping and the delivery address, and you can correct any mistakes. By pressing the payment button you place an order that obliges you to pay.
The contract is concluded when we send you the order confirmation to the email address given: keep it, it is the proof of purchase and contains the summary of the conditions. We send you the confirmation right after payment. If you do not receive it, check your spam folder and write to us.
Wedding favors and made-to-order gift packs cannot be ordered from the cart: they are agreed through a request, see point 13.
8. Payment
Payment is made at checkout by card and with the other methods that Stripe makes available at that moment (for example Apple Pay, Google Pay or Link). You enter your payment details in the Stripe form, a certified provider: we do not see them and we do not store them. The amount is charged when the order is confirmed. Orders of particularly high amounts, or which Stripe’s anti-fraud system judges anomalous, may be subject to checks or declined.
9. Shipping and delivery
We deliver in Italy. Shipments abroad are not yet active: if you need delivery outside Italy, write to us.
- Cost. The rate depends on the weight of the parcel and is shown in the cart and at checkout before payment.
- Times. We prepare the order as soon as payment is confirmed and write to you when the parcel is sent. Unless otherwise agreed, we deliver without delay and in any case within 30 days of the conclusion of the contract.
- When we do not deliver. If we do not deliver within the time limit, you can give us a further suitable period; if we do not meet that either, you can terminate the contract and we will refund what you paid.
For orders of 69 euros or more, shipping in Italy is free.
On delivery, check the parcel. If the packaging is damaged or wet, accept it with a written reservation on the courier’s document and photograph it before opening it: without that reservation it is harder to obtain a refund for broken contents. Then write to us right away at info@mieleartemide.com: if the product arrives broken, we will replace it or refund it at no cost to you.
The risk of loss and damage of the products passes to the consumer on delivery.
10. Withdrawal
Consumers can withdraw within fourteen days of receiving the goods, without giving a reason. The conditions and the costs of return are on the page Withdrawal and returns, which also contains the function to exercise the right of withdrawal online: Withdraw from contract here. The same page can be reached from the footer of the site at any time.
The right of withdrawal does not apply to goods made to measure or personalized, nor to sealed goods that cannot be returned for hygiene reasons and that have been opened after delivery (such as opened food and cosmetics).
11. Legal guarantee of conformity
Consumers are entitled to the legal guarantee of conformity provided for by articles 128 and following of the Consumer Code: the seller is liable for lack-of-conformity defects that become apparent within two years of delivery. The consumer is entitled, depending on the case, to repair or replacement of the product, a price reduction or termination of the contract. For a non-conforming or damaged product, or one different from the one ordered, write to us with a few photographs: we take care of it, and the costs are ours. We do not offer further commercial guarantees.
12. Product safety
Every product shows on its label the name and address of whoever produces it or places it on the market. If you have noticed a safety problem with a product bought from us, write to us at info@mieleartemide.com: we treat it as a priority, giving the batch printed on the pack.
13. Wedding favors and made-to-order creations
Wedding favors, place cards and made-to-order gift packs cannot be bought from the cart: they are requested through the dedicated form, and price, times and personalizations are agreed with you in writing before any commitment. The right of withdrawal provided for online purchases does not apply to goods made to measure or clearly personalized.
14. Complaints and dispute resolution
For any complaint write to us at info@mieleartemide.com or call +39 0825 962316: we prefer to solve things by talking, and we usually reply within one working day.
We have not committed to using an alternative dispute resolution (ADR) body. The consumer can in any case turn to an ADR body listed in the register kept by the Italian Ministry of Enterprises and Made in Italy, or take the matter to court.
15. Applicable law and jurisdiction
Contracts concluded through this site are governed by Italian law, without prejudice to the mandatory protections provided by the law of the consumer’s country of residence. For disputes with consumers, the court of the consumer’s place of residence or domicile has jurisdiction. For those with someone who buys for their business, the Court of Avellino has jurisdiction.

We process your data as explained in the privacy notice. We may change these conditions: each order is governed by the conditions in force on the day you place it.
